(2010) Websites are fucking dead – A manifesto With the rise of the so-called Web 2.0, the classic approach of websites became more and more obsolete. Popular websites turned into blogs, microsites went on Facebook, just one click away from the product's target group. Interfaces got streamlined by predefined easy to use themes with perfectly structured code in the back. People now buy stuff on Google since they offer a product search, way better than most of the brand's official onlineshops. There's dead silence on band's websites because they moved all music to MySpace and sell their records on iTunes. People will find, read, watch, listen and finally share things on social networks in the future. Websites are fucking dead.
